I need to read more of your posts…. for as negative of a person as I am, I have always respected Eastern philosophies… they just make more sense to me personally, and as far as I can tell, traditional Easterners seems to live better (as in more content) lives than Westerners in general (not everyone of course). I do always here sayings like “American is the most overworked 1st world nation,” but take unscientific phrases like that with a grain of salt. There’s a lot in this world I don’t understand, but reading your posts calms me down somewhat, allows some kind of refreshing perspective that things CAN in fact get better if I let them… perhaps I’m holding on to this anger and grief because I believe that I don’t deserve to be happy? Or because I still have much animosity towards my parents… who knows…
